"BAD BOY" for GOOD PEOPLE Would you like to have a "Bad Boy"? Thought that would get your attention. So, here's the deal: on April 29, 2000, you can swing, hit and ride all in one day, and do it all while schmoozing with such celebrities as President George Bush, Chris Evert, Jerry Van Dyke, Vijay Amritraj and our own Texas Walker Ranger, the macho Chuck Norris. On the aforementioned date, at the Westwood Country Club in Houston, Texas, Chuck Norris will host the 7th Annual Chuck Norris Kick Drugs out of America Tennis & Golf Invitational Now, here is where the "Bad Boy" thing comes in. For a measly $100.00 raffle ticket, you have a chance to win a Harley Davidson "Bad Boy". The Harley will be autographed and
presented at the April 29th event by
Chuck Norris himself. Cool!
So! get a grip on the tennis racket, spit shine the golf clubs and go shopping for a
spiffy black leather get-up (Harley
style) and make arrangements to participate in this worthy cause, benefiting the KDOOA,
which programs can be expanded to many
more schools in Houston, Dallas and Chicago.
For more info. call Kick Drugs out of America (713) 868-6003
P.S. to the "Bad Boy", just thought you may want to know, there is already a Harley
lover anxious to purchase the bike for
$15.000.00 cash, if he's not the lucky winner.![]() ![]() ![]() Which way to Broadway?
Always wanted to score big on Broadway? but as far as you got was Westheimer? Despair
not. Houston Children's Charities will give you an opportunity to get there and
even act out someone you're not (as if you haven't been doing that already). On Sunday,
May 7, 2000 at the tony Tony's restaurant, the Charity will hold it's 4th annual
smoker, with this year's theme being a "Tony Night on Broadway". How apropos is
that? Here is your grand opportunity to dress and act any Broadway star you wish to be. Be a blonde, a bombshell, a bimbo or a raven-haired heroine. Be funny, sad, silly or stupid, just be there. Need more temptation? how about superior caviar, ice-cold vodka martinis, five-course divine dinner? Still not enough oral gratification? then how about a fine hand-made AVO cigars by Davidoff (thank you Jeffrey Stone). Schmoozing with the one and only, ever so charismatic and colorful cigar guru Avo Avezian and watching the restaurant ruler Tony Vallone do the live auction (You've been spared the silent auction, yea!!). Well, there you have it, and if that is not enough to get you out on Sunday night, that's ok too. Seating is limited to only 200 guests. Proceeds from this smoking soiree will benefit Houston Children's Charity, which helps to fund over 100 agencies in Houston and surrounding areas. For more info, contact the Charity's office at 713 524-2878, or better yet, click on the Houston Children's Charities banner on this very website and get all the graphic details.
