The proverbial "fat lady" will begin to sing on March 8th, at the annual underwriter's dinner for the Houston Grand Opera's Opera Ball 2000. The tented affair with a Old World Opera motif will be held at the extraordinary home of the equally extraordinary Francie and Mike Willis. Catered by Tony's.....at home (but of course), guests will be entertained by KT Sullivan and Mark Nadler. And did you know that KT Sullivan, who is the sister of Mike Sullivan, will be the featured entertainment at the Metropolitan Opera Ball in New York? Among other dinner attractions will be some of the auction items, such as a Mercedez Benz CLK 320, and a Cynthia Bach one-of-a-kind ring of platinum, white pearls and diamonds, designed especially for the ball. After all if you will be driving a spiffy car, you can't exactly wear a mood ring, can you? So who will be there?
